    Hiring a Spatial Data Analyst

    We are seeking candidates skilled in data science with spatial environmental/marine applications to lead analyses supporting proposals to establish marine protected areas in the high seas, or “areas beyond national jurisdiction”. Data analysis and synthesis performed by the candidate will be used to prioritize and refine protected area proposals, building on previous work by the Benioff Ocean Science Laboratory and Pew Charitable Trusts to produce the Protect High Seas Interactive Visualization Tool (https://www.pewtrusts.org/en/research-and-analysis/data-visualizations/2023/protect-high-seas#).
