Using recycled plastic to create netting

This technology is being applied in Australia. I believe we need this EVERYWHERE! Why not use recycled plastic to make these expandable nets? The plastic that the nets catch can be used to make more nets for collection and if the nets are damaged they can be recycled and made new.
This would require a team of people to remove and sort and facilities
to process the debris.
