Solutions for Pollution Competition

“Solutions for Pollution Competition” (SPC) will be a six-month long contest aimed at Long Island high school students who will submit concepts for either reducing or for mitigating trash in our waterways and on our beaches. The focus will on the Long Island Sound, with special reference to associated harbors. The goal will be to enhance the image of a “trash free sea” for LI boaters and for the students involved in the competition. Such a competition would be extendable to a wider region.
